First Game at Rio Frio: What to call Mark's Melanie
This game was suggested by Melanie Rummel, who apparently hasn't yet come up with an A#1 name for Melanie, who no doubt doesn't want to be confused with Melanie, when someone yells "MELANIE" or whispers "mmmmmMel a nie?" of there is work for Melanie to do or fun for Melanie to have or compliments for Melanie to get . . . . What?? Compliments??? Oh, never mind, Melanie will take 'em ALL!

We could call her by her hip-hop name: "M-Par"
How about... Melanie?
"Melanie?" It's so crazy that it just might work!
You guys are a crack up! I think the best idea is this: if anyone needs work done, I will assume you mean Melanie Rummel. If you say, "Melanie, you and Mark win EVERY SINGLE GAME we play," I will know for sure you're talking about me :D It's all in the context.
All I do is point at either one and say "You, servant woman, fetch me a drying cloth!"
But I'm going to start calling not just Mark or Melanie individually, but both at the same time regardless of the situation with the simple phrase "Hey M&M!"
Ok seriously though, this isn't really an issue for me since I don't call my mother Melanie. So it's up to everyone else!

It isn't an issue for me either, since I don't call either of them Melanie.
I call her "Aunt Mel", so I too wash my hands of this. And my mom calls her "Sis" so I really don't know what the problem is.
I can't repeat what I call her.
Zing!
I say "M&M".
I just call her "Mel". Seems easy enough to me.
Karen,
When you say, "I just call HER Mel"...to which Melanie are you referring?
I was referring to "your" Melanie, Mark. I was sure I wouldn't have to clarify since this post is about "what to call Mark's Melanie". lol
